La fête de Lutte Ouvrière is a large annual festival in May/June in Presles (near Paris), France, Europe. It is linked to Workers' Fight in the UK.

Another very public activity of LO is their annual fete which is held in the grounds of a chateau which the organisation purchased for that purpose in 1981. The annual Fête de Lutte Ouvrière is probably the largest public gathering of the revolutionary left in Europe at this point in time.

Lutte Ouvrière has at the very most 2,000 members, yet it is able to stand hundreds of candidates in elections, sometimes winning 5% or more of the national vote, and can run an ambitious undertaking like its annual three-day fete that regularly attracts around 25,000 people.

The fete is held on a sprawling country estate near the village of Presles, to the north of Paris. I was astonished to learn that this estate, complete with 19th century mansion and extensive wooded area, is actually owned by LO - it was donated by an eccentric aristocrat some three decades ago.
